This morning I have just arrived in London (writing from the airport pre-flight) to register as a vet in the UK. It's crazy exciting to be moving back here, but I still have a couple more flights in order to move my cat (Cindy) over too. I honestly thought two suitcases would fit pretty much everything, but apparently I must be a hoarder. Not really, but I am sure you can relate to the ridiculous amount of things we manage to accumulate over just a few years.

On to the outfit. This is what I wore to a family dinner to celebrate my graduation, and I have to say it's such a good combination. The tweed skirt is perfect for all year, and personally I think it gives off some serious Chanel vibes. What do you think? I also loved how my flowers matched my outfit, because isn't that the instagram life goal?

I hope everyone has a lovely week, and if all goes well this time next week I will be starting my new job as a vet! Fingers crossed.

24 hours in Budapest

After graduation and packing up my apartment, my family and I headed to Budapest for a day. It was really nice to be back there, and do a bit of sightseeing. We decided to go with the hop-on hop-off bus tour, but while this may work in other cities, it really was the worst choice. The  traffic is at an all time standstill, so I would recommend to use the underground or tram systems.

This dress happens to be one of my current favourite pieces and I wear it at every chance. It's so easy to throw on and go, plus with the silver sandals and bag it was the perfect dressed down version for sightseeing. I normally shy away from red, but this piece spoke to me. I have also started seeing a lot of pricier versions of this dress on other bloggers, so you really can't beat the price on this one.

Graduation: I'm a Vet!

I still can't quite believe I have now graduated and am officially a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or DVM). It has been such a long and hard journey (6 years), but I am very excited to start the next chapter in my life. I will also be moving back to the UK in a few weeks, after about 17 years of living abroad in Spain, Austria and Slovakia (where I studied!). I am now back in Austria after packing up my apartment in Koลกice (Slovakia) last week and trying to do a clean out here.

The dress I chose for the graduation ceremony was perfect. I had actually purchased it about 3-4 years ago on sale in Zara, and never found the right occasion to wear it. It was always too formal and smart for most cases, and then I decided about a year ago to save it for graduation rather than wearing it for my state exams (which also required smart outfits).

After graduation we headed to Budapest for a day, so I will share those photos on here next. Also if you don't already, I have been posting more on instagram and instastories and would love if you joined me there :)
